Letter from Superintendent - Update on Mold Situation

As promised, Superintendent Ryan Scallon shares an update on the work to clean and remove mold at Talbot Community School.

As you know, mold was confirmed Aug. 18 in 16 classrooms (comprising four pods) and two offices. We have hired environmental consulting company Environmental Safety and Hygiene Associates to address the problem through detailed cleaning and mold mitigation. They have made good progress on those areas and we expect those classrooms and offices to be cleaned and mold-free before the end of next week.
